ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND WASTE MANAGEMENT POLICY
While serving you Decently in this Hostel where you can have a good time with your family and accumulate good memories, we also do not ignore the protection of nature. To protect the environment, to respect other living beings as well as ourselves and to be able to implement the environmental policy we have adopted in order to defend the rights of life within the framework of current laws and practices and, most importantly, with the support of our guests, is our only goal.
The issues we have mentioned below for the protection and development of the right to life of other living beings other than us will be constantly updated according to today's requirements and needs, but they will never deviate from the goal.
For this;
- We are aware of our responsibilities to the environment and society, we believe in continuous development and we carry out our activities with the belief of a sustainable environment, and we will ensure its continuity.
- By keeping the factors that may cause environmental damage under control, we will minimize the pollution and damage we will cause to the environment.
- We will fulfill our legal obligations and comply with environmental legislation and administrative regulations.
- We will carry out studies to reduce, reuse or recycle polluting waste at its source in order to prevent environmental pollution.
- We will use energy and natural resources at an optimal level and implement activities to prevent unnecessary resource use.
- In order to make our Natural Resources sustainable, we will regularly monitor our water and electricity consumption and take protective measures to prevent excessive consumption.
- We will continue to provide trainings to our personnel about the need to use chemicals adequately in order to prevent excessive chemical consumption.
- We know that the use of hazardous substances and chemicals only in case of need and as much as necessary will reduce both the negative effects on the environment and the amount of waste,
- We try to create reuse opportunities by contributing to the protection of nature by preferring those with the label of “recycling” and “environmentally friendly” in the materials we use in our business,
- We take care to use disposable materials such as paper, napkins, toilet paper, packaging as much as necessary and leave less waste to nature,
- We store the wastes correctly in separate areas according to their characteristics, deliver them to licensed/authorized companies without exceeding the legal storage time limits, and keep their records,
- We try to use water, energy and all natural resources sparingly. We share this sensitivity with our employees, guests, suppliers.
- We measure our performance in Environmental management, monitor this data with goals and try to improve our performance.
- We aim to educate our employees about the environment and increase their sensitivity.

CHILD RIGHTS POLICY
Children are the trusts of the future for us. To know them as an individual, to respect their rights, all kinds of psychological, physical, commercial, etc. it is our primary responsibility to monitor and protect against exploitation.

For this reason, our documents such as risk analyses, obligations to comply, our policies, guest satisfaction surveys... are updated with December intervals we have determined and revised if necessary.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY POLICY
One of the most important steps related to sustainability is to ensure energy efficiency. First of all, problems should be determined by measuring energy use and possible areas of savings should be identified. Low consumption equipment and systems should be preferred. Long-term improvement should be achieved by using automation management and monitoring resources. Energy savings through maintenance, surveillance and monitoring should be constantly analyzed.
We use our energy efficiently to protect our world from possible dangers and set goals to reduce our energy consumption.
As PAVLONYA GARDEN HOSTEL, we are aware of the disadvantages caused by the depletion of energy resources, global warming and the damage caused to the environment by fossil fuels. We have preferred renewable energy sources and have made efforts to reduce our carbon footprint in nature.
Sustainability Within The Scope Of What Happened Environmental Elements:
- The facility has received all the necessary legal documents since the date of opening.
- The installation needs are met from the network line connected to Çanakkale Municipality.
- Packaging materials are collected, stored at the recycling waste station and collected by the waste collection organization contracted with the Municipality of Çanakkale.
- Construction and garden wastes are collected separately from other wastes and dumped in the areas indicated by the municipality.
- Chemical trainings have been received from our contracted supplier companies and awareness of our employees who use chemicals has been raised in order to ensure the standardization of chemical consumption.
- The control of the equipment used for firefighting has been provided by the supplier company at certain periods.
